On June 24, 2025, the Youth Development and Skill Support Foundation, represented by three members of its Board of Trustees—Rev. Fr. Dr. Denis Agbo, Mrs. Vivian Eze, and Dr. Theresa Ugwuanyi conducted a school outreach at Holy Redeemer Secondary School in Nru-Nsukka, the hometown of the foundation’s founder. The trustees took turns speaking about the importance of education, key focus areas within education, and the significance of acquiring entrepreneurial skills to aid young people as they begin their academic journeys.
Rev. Fr. Gabriel Ngwu, the school’s administrator, warmly welcomed the guests and facilitated the outreach by ensuring the students were gathered in a conducive environment for the 15-minute lecture. The teachers also participated in the program.
In addition to the talk, the foundation donated exercise books and packets of pens to the students. Waste disposal bins were also provided to support the school’s efforts to maintain a clean environment conducive to learning.
The students expressed their joy and gratitude to the foundation’s representatives for the gifts and for recognising their school as deserving of support. The school visit and outreach marked a promising beginning and proved to be quite successful.
