YDASS Foundation Welcomes Three New Members Following Board Workshop

Three new members joined the foundation and were officially welcomed after the annual workshop for Board members, facilitated by Professor Nkadi Onyegegbu on 26th November 2025. The new members—Ms Patience Mama, Mrs Josephine Chinyere Ugwu, and Mr Romanus Nwankwo Ishiwu received a warm reception from the Board, which looks forward to collaborating with them to pursue a shared vision.

Mamah-Patience

Ms Mamah Patience holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Tourism Management from the Federal Polytechnic Idah, Kogi State; a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Enugu State University of Science and Technology; and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Hospitality and Tourism Management from NIHOTOUR, Enugu. She is currently working at the Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Uwana, Ebonyi State.

Josephine-Chinyere-Ugwu

Mrs Josephine Chinyere Ugwu is a dedicated businesswoman and mother of four, deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community. Her strong passion for supporting the underprivileged, especially young and vulnerable children and youth, motivated her to join the Youth Development and Skill Support Foundation (YDASS) as a member. This organisation aligns perfectly with her vision of empowering individuals and promoting social development.

Romanus-Nwankwo-Ishiwu

Mr Romanus Nwankwo Ishiwu is a retired electrical engineer who served as a System Control Officer Distributor with Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC). He is distinguished by a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional development, as demonstrated by his numerous qualifications across diverse fields. His educational and professional achievements include: Co-operative Business Management (CRDC) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2001); Advanced National Technical Certificate (H/T Electrical Installation and Maintenance Practice), NABTEB Nigeria (2003); Certificate of Proficiency in Computer Appreciation and Internet Utility, ICT Solutions for Africa – UNN (2009); Professional Skills Certificate in Safety and Various Structures, Ijora Training Centre (2000); and Certificate of Merit/Proficiency in Techniques of Agricultural Investment, Entrepreneurship Training, and Skills Acquisition, IDEC (NGO), KAUJE Abuja (2017). These accomplishments reflect Mr Ishiwu’s dedication to continuous improvement across education, technology, safety, and entrepreneurship.
